Welcome to another great year of great music, dancing and good times!
If you volunteered with us before, welcome back! If this is your first time volunteering for us, we sincerely welcome and you hope you have a fantastic experience!
Here are some ways to be involved:
These positions involve the welcoming of guests, taking tickets, keeping an accurate count those entering the facility, answering questions and the selling tickets. This position also helps with coat check at White Eagle Hall.
Just as it sounds! You will sell beer tickets, and make change. No stress/to mess! Warning! The final shift can sometimes go a bit later so if you sign up for the later shift, know that you might be at the table for closer to 3 hours.
Artist Merchandise Table
These positions involve the selling of CDs, posters, and t-shirts promoting the work of the performing artists. These positions will involve the handling of money and keeping track of what is sold. These positions on Saturday might also assist the beer ticket table at swamped time between sets.
These positions will help make the venue and enjoyable place for the event guests. These positions will involve the clearing of tables, emptying garbage and recycling containers, and generally helping the organizers ensure an accessible and tidy venue.
These positions will help VDF organizers control the flow of attendees, and to ensure that the event is not interrupted by excess noise. Also, we wouldn’t want folks to get lost, would we!
Be part of a team preparing and serving food and non-alcohol beverages.
Just as it says; Bring a strong back, and a willingness to sweat a little. These shifts will occur prior to doors opening, and once the hall is cleared. There is no expectation that any volunteer will do both set-up and tear down.
Please volunteer for what you can! We’d love to have you.
